High Protein Curried Courgette Waffles

You’ll need a waffle maker for this tasty, high protein waffle recipe from the Celery & Cupcakes blog.

Instructions:

Step 1

Set up your waffle maker as per the manufacturer’s instructions (I used the Classic Waffle setting).

Step 2

Stir all the dry ingredients together in a bowl and then beat in the quark, almond milk, eggs and grated courgette.

Step 3

When ready, pour the batter into the the waffle maker and cook.

Serve with your favourite toppings and enjoy!

  • 300g/2 cups spelt flour
  • 100g /1/2 cup Graham’s Natural Quark
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 courgette (zucchini) grated
  • 400ml/2 cups almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
