A Scrumptious Partnership: Graham’s Family Dairy Backs Local Rugby Team

Scotland’s number one food brand has kicked off a scrumptious new partnership with local rugby
team Stirling County Rugby Football Club (RFC).

Graham’s Family Dairy, based in Stirlingshire, has partnered with the 118-year old club for the
first time. The season-long deal will see the family business join other sponsors to support the
community club which currently has over 800 members in total.
All 18 of Stirling County’s teams, from Men and Women’s 1st XV to junior and entry level teams
for Boys and Girls, will wear the Graham’s Family Dairy logo on their shirts and branding will
feature around pitch billboards.

Alongside funding and branding, the sponsorship includes product donation with a focus on the
dairy’s high-protein range, which will benefit all team members and additional children’s events
throughout the season.

Launched in 2017, the high-protein range has become synonymous with supporting exercise
recovery and contributing to a well balanced diet. Among the expanding range of products,
Protein 25 pots and pouches continue to prove most popular, packing a hearty 25g of natural
dairy protein per serving which is fundamental for muscle recovery post exercise, they are also
fat free and sweetener free.

Robert Graham, Managing Director at Graham’s Family Dairy said:
“Growing up in the area, and playing for the Stirling County thirds – although it was apparent that
my rugby career wasn’t to take off – I can attest to how important this club is to its members. By
supporting and investing in grassroots rugby we are not just fostering a sport; we are helping to
build a stronger, more connected community where people of all ages can take part in physical
activity and be part of a team.
“Our high-protein products deliver between 22 and 25 grams of protein per serving meaning this
range is particularly useful for those who lead an active lifestyle, helping to optimise muscle
recovery post match or training.”
Based out of Bridgehaugh Park, County’s Men’s 1st XV play in Arnold Clark’s National League 1
while the Women’s 1st XV compete in the Scottish top flight, the Arnold Clark Premiership.

Jack McIlroy Reid, General Manager at Stirling County RFC said:
“The products that Graham’s Family Dairy is providing for our Saturday morning junior rugby
sessions means that hundreds of local children are starting their weekends off with positive
activity and the right nutrition, and I’m delighted to be working with our neighbours to be able to
deliver that.
“It’s fantastic for the club to be partnering with a local company of this stature and while they are
an internationally recognisable brand, the deal clearly reflects how important the local community
is to Graham’s Family Dairy.”

The sponsorship will also provide products for the free breakfast initiative which benefits P1-P7
players at the club’s Saturday morning sessions. This will help to ensure hundreds of children
start their weekend off with a protein packed breakfast.

On top of traditional dairy products, Graham’s Family Dairy continues to see growth in demand
for its high-protein range. Sales of protein and Skyr products have overtaken sales of
conventional milk in major supermarkets, with protein products now equating to around a quarter
of all sales.
