Customers of Scotland’s first Wholefoods Market (Glasgow) and of Morrisons supermarket stores in Scotland now have the opportunity to choose the great taste of award-winning dairy produce from Graham’s The Family Dairy.
Since 1 November, Morrisons stores in Scotland have listed Graham’s The Family Dairy Scottish Spreadable Butter (250g/500g) and Scottish Dairy (conventional) unsalted butter (250g) and slightly salted (250g) butter.
And from 16 November, Scotland’s largest independent dairy is supplying its range of award-winning Graham’s Gold, Organic and Scottish Dairy milks, creams, butters and ice-cream to Scotland’s first and newly opened Wholefoods Market in Giffnock.
The listings are further welcome news for the Stirlingshire based family dairy that already supplies the likes of Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose (Scotland), Asda and Co-op supermarkets and leading independents, restaurants and hotels.
Founded at Airthrey Kerse Farm in 1939 by the father of Dr Robert Graham (chairman), the family is proud of its rich agricultural roots and is renowned for a firm commitment to product innovation that most recently included the launch (June 2011) of the first spreadable butter by a Scottish dairy.
Earlier this year, judges at the 2011 Royal Highland Show (Edinburgh) awarded the Overall Championship Butter accolade to Graham’s Scottish Slightly Salted Butter (250g), describing it as ‘a beautifully flavoured butter with outstanding quality (and) ‘an undoubtable winner in an excellent class.’
