A business is nothing without its consumers and so we would like to thank every single one of you for supporting Graham’s The Family Dairy and our products. This month especially, we have reason to be grateful. Recent research has shown that for the very first time, we have overtaken Lurpak to become the number one butter brand of choice in Scotland.
We added block butter to our product range in 2005 and we have seen steady growth every since. However we always have to compete with foreign imports such as Lurpak and Anchor. With great support from you, our loyal customers, we have surpassed their sales and hope this is the start of things to come. We’d like to encourage everyone to buy local produce, which supports Scottish jobs and Scottish farmers. You can also feel good about doing your bit for the environment by buying local because it cuts the air and sea miles used in transporting goods from overseas.
It has been a great summer for Graham’s The Family Dairy. The long, sunny days have produced lots of lush green grass to feed our cows in the beautiful Stirlingshire countryside. What’s more, harvest is in full swing across the land as the fields turn golden and farmers reap their rewards of months of hard work.
