Class 2 Driver

We are actively recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for our busy multidrop delivery routes from our depots in Bridge of Allan, Port Dundas and Cowdenbeath.

£14.16 + £25 Weekly Performance Bonus

45 hours per week (5 days over 7)

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 2 vehicles to deliver milk and other food products to shops, restaurants, dairies, hotels etc.
• Complete Tachograph procedures accurately
• Carries out temperature checks on the vehicle and records information.
• Maintain cleanliness of the van, both internally and externally, and reports any faults or defects.
• Assist with loading of vehicle adhering to all H&S regulations
• Reconciles deliveries.
• Comply with Working Time and European Tachograph regulations

Experience required:

• Experience Class 2 Multi Drop Driving (1 year preferred)
• Customer care experience
• Valid CPC & Digital tachograph

Skills & Knowledge required:

• Manual Handling
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good numeracy skills

Additional Information:

• • Early morning starts are required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service are essential.
  • Knowledge of UK geography and efficient route planning is beneficial.
